Signature drinks are for more than weddings. They can be created for girl’s nights, weekend brunches or holiday parties.
Last year, I was on the hunt for the perfect signature drink. And I found it.
On Christmas Eve, some of my family members came to my house for an impromptu gathering of presents, appetizers, and beverages.
I agreed to it at the last minute because I really wanted to see my family. But, with everything else that is going on (holiday season – I know you know what I mean) I don’t have a lot of time to play hostess.

Lemon Blueberry Vodka Spritzer
First, mix up a batch of honey simple syrup. Making simple syrups is my favorite way to add my own touch to traditional cocktails and honey simple syrup is my #1 go-to.
It is so easy to make. Just combine 1 part water and 1 part honey in a small pan over low heat until the honey dissolves and a syrup is created. Let it cool and it is ready to be added to your drinks.
Next, add a dash of fruity fun with blueberry vodka. You can infuse your own if you have time or find it at the store. I usually buy mine and keep it on hand.
Combine the honey simple syrup, blueberry vodka and some ice in a shaker to chill it and strain everything into a glass filled with ice.

Top this sweet, fruity combo with sparkling water.
I used lemon flavored sparkling water for this drink but you could also try lime, berry, or blackberry flavors.
If you want to offer your guests a little variety, buy one of each flavor and let your guests choose which flavor they want.
Garnish your drinks with lemon slices, fresh blueberries and a sprig of rosemary for a fun holiday touch.

Made a version of this tonight and it was really good! I used plain vodka but added a few frozen blueberries to the shaker and they infused really well. Had plain sparkling water but added a few squeezes of lemon juice. Thanks! Great cocktail and didn’t feel full...as a beer drinker this was a plus LOL
